Alba James is a vessel, a mask, a deep lake from whose surface songs rise.

It is the project of France-born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer Aubane Jeanne Marie Gémaux.

Alba’s music is like lying on the grass and looking at the vastness of the sky: it makes you deeply sad and strangely happy at the same time.
It is by feeling so small since they were little that Alba writes, between intimate ballads and orchestral compositions.

Inspired by traditional folk and fairy tales, Alba produces their songs in a small studio lost in the Swedish forest, whence their latest single “You Belong To Me” was born.
